Here's a new fruit painting I just completed for my upcoming show at Harris Gallery. I've always liked fruit paintings that just show the fruit, without a special arrangement, plates, etc.

"Red Raspberries," 12" x 16"

Hi Christiane, thank you for your compliment on the raspberries. I actually use every red imaginable, from the cadmiums to napthol and some oranges and transparent pink/magenta shades too.

Hi, if you go to the opening page for my blog, you'll see I added a new post just a few days ago -- a new painting of mixed berries and some news updates. Thanks for keeping up with my blog -- I appreciate your comments. I hope to post more this year!

Lisa E,
Those are nice too! You have interest in deep colors which is great. I think the passion flower painting is superb. Are the originals paintings or computer graphics? Either way they're very nice and takes talent to make. Will you be doing a wide painting of fruit? I saw Plums is sold. Do you sell the graphic images after the original is sold?

Roger, all of the images shown on my blog and website are originals. Yes, after a piece is sold I have the capability to sell a digital print (giclee). If you are interested in the plum piece, or any other, please email me directly: lisa@lisaernst.com. Thanks.
