A few weeks ago I got word that I've been selected to do an installation for the Flying Solo Series at the Nashville Airport, in their ticketing lobby. Until this year I never thought about having an exhibit at the airport, but I've seen so many of Nashville's prominent artists showing there that I began to think twice. Obviously, the exposure is great, and I've heard most artists who show there find it does lead to great contacts and sales long term. The installation will be about 9 ' x 9' and consist of an arrangement of calla lily paintings. I'll post an image of the planned installation as I get a little further along with it. I'll deliver the paintings on September 13.
I've begun representation by a gallery in Jackson Hole Wyoming, just in time for their main tourist season. If you're in the area, stop by Raindance Fine Art, on artist's row in downtown Jackson.
Recently I completed a few more photo encaustic pieces, both of beach sunrise scenes at Amelia Island.
