We had a lovely reception at the Marnie Sheridan Gallery on February 28. Anne Was, the gallery director, said they had the best crowd since Paul Harmon's show there a couple of years ago. She was pleased, and so were Sue and I. A few days prior to the official opening I got a few shots of the exhibit from various angles. Without flash, I wasn't able to capture the full galllery, which is quite large and open, perfect for big paintings that need "breathing" room! Here are a few, including the first one of me at the reception:

 This last image is my new photo encaustic work. I'll be posting more images to the blog soon of this new series. I've received an encouraging response to these pieces. Now that the weather is getting warmer, I'll have more control over the wax process so I can create larger pieces. And don't forget that this exhibit will be on display until April 15! If you're in the middle Tennessee you can visit the gallery Monday - Friday 8:30 - 4:30. If you get by, do  let me know what you think!
