Last week I delivered my recently completed "Backlit Lotus" to Vanderbilt. They hung it in a open spot with the rest of my Botanic Immersion exhibit. Here's how it looks:
"Backlit Lotus" 36" x 48" acrylic on canvas
Side view of "Botanic Immersion" exhibit at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville
View of exhibit from across the walkway

The exhibit will remain on view until January 6, 2012. If you haven't gotten by yet and live in Nashville, I hope you'll have the chance to view it. Let me know if you do! The paintings in this exhibit are available for sale directly through me, so please direct any inquiries to lisa@lisaernst.com.

Hello Lisa, I love these images. I discovered your work whilst I was looking for images to inspire my class of 15 year old pupils on the theme of 'Feast'. I showed them your 'Raspberries' image and they love it. The whole class have now analysed the image and it is inspiring lots of ideas for them! We all really look forward to seeing what you do next and following your progress
